Mrs. Scholar Kisia is a distinguished nurse leader with more than 35 years of dedicated service in Kenya’s healthcare sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Kenya Methodist University and is a trained Kenya Registered Nurse and Midwife, where she earned recognition as Best Midwife and Best Nurse. Her exemplary contributions to the profession were further honored when she received the prestigious Order of the Grand Warrior, awarded by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

Her career at The Nairobi Hospital has been marked by progressive leadership roles, including Charge Nurse of the LMF Surgical Ward, Hospital Infection Control Nurse, Head of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD), and ultimately Acting Director of Nursing Services. Beyond her hospital work, Mrs. Kisia has also held influential leadership positions within the National Nurses Association of Kenya (NNAK), where she championed professional growth and advocacy for nurses nationwide. 

Renowned for her unwavering commitment to patient safety and quality care, Mrs. Kisia is celebrated as a compassionate caregiver, mentor, and visionary leader. Her active participation in numerous international workshops underscores her dedication to lifelong learning and her passion for advancing the nursing profession both locally and globally.
